Pre & Postnatal Yoga

Prenatal Yoga

Our prenatal yoga classes are designed to support you through pregnancy, prepare your body and mind for labor, and provide tools for postpartum recovery. Each class combines safe, mindful movement and breathwork with an emphasis on strength, resilience, and connection. Our classes also offer the opportunity to create a community of other pregnant individuals while fostering confidence and empowering you to create your own positive birth experience.

Classes focus on the following foundational concepts:

 

  • Community & Support - Our top priority is to connect pregnant students in a safe, positive, and encouraging environment!

  • Breath - Explore the fundamentals of breathing through movement, alongside a variety of techniques to stay focused and relaxed throughout the different stages of labor.

  • Strength - Build strength and endurance to accommodate the increasing demands of pregnancy and prepare the body for labor, with a focus on hips, glutes, back, shoulders, and gentle core work.

  • Labor Positions - Learn a variety positions beneficial for early labor, transition, and pushing.

  • Pelvic Floor Health - Strengthen and increase connection to the pelvic floor, address imbalances and release muscle tension.

  • Balance and Posture Training - Understand proper postural alignment and center of gravity as the body changes throughout pregnancy

  • Nervous System and Relaxation - Guided relaxation, meditation, and visualization techniques to reduce stress, ease anxiety and deepen your connection with baby. ​

  • Postpartum Recovery – Consistent prenatal practice creates a strong foundation for healing and recovery in the postpartum period.

  • Education - Understand that the pregnant body is naturally designed to give birth, and it is the innate wisdom of the birthing person that guides them through their own unique journey. Our goal is to ensure that you have the knowledge and resources to advocate for your own pregnancy and birthing experience.

Postnatal Baby & Me Yoga

Our postnatal yoga classes provide a gentle, supportive space to navigate the physical and emotional transition into parenthood. These sessions are designed to help you safely move back into your body—rebuilding strength and finding mental clarity in a way that feels sustainable. We prioritize a progressive approach that honors your unique healing journey, empowering you to regain your vitality at your own pace within a supportive community.

Classes focus on the following foundational concepts:

 

  • Community & Connection – They say it takes a village! Connect with other parents in a safe, non-judgmental environment.

  • Gentle Reintroduction of Movement – Explore a range of mindful movements to help release physical tension, improve circulation, and encourage your body’s natural recovery.

  • Core & Pelvic Floor Recovery – Slowly and safely re-establish a connection to your deep core and pelvic floor, supporting functional healing and long-term stability.

  • Strength & Progression – Gradually build the functional strength needed for the daily tasks of parenthood, focusing on the back, glutes, and shoulders.

  • Restorative Alignment – Soften the "posture of parenting" by opening the chest and strengthening the muscles that support you while nursing, carrying, and holding your little one.

  • Nervous System Regulation – Practice mindfulness and breathwork techniques to cope with sleep deprivation, reduce anxiety, and help regulate yourself and your baby. 

  • Self-Care & Integration – Take this time to reconnect with yourself beyond your role as a parent. Remember: just showing up for yourself is a powerful act of self-care.
